Panel Discussion and Exhibition Reception for (re)FOCUS at City Hall: Philadelphia has a long history of women artists who have successfully taken on the challenge of responding to the lack of professional opportunities available to them. This tradition continues to this day. Representatives from Women Holler, ARTsisters, The Colored Girls’ Museum and the Women’s Caucus for Art will discuss their experiences and what the future might hold for women and gender-nonconforming artists. Participants include Vashti DuBois, Pauline Houston McCall, Virginia Maksymowicz, Cynthia Philkill and Patti Jordan. Admission is free but you must register in advance on GoogleForms by March 5.
