FRIEDAcommunity is proud to announce the show A closer look by Brooklyn based Tattooist/ Artist Henbo Henning.
Join us and the artist on Friday, June 7, First Friday, during the opening reception from 6pm to 8pm.

Henbo Henning is a tattooist, illustrator, animator, and painter. His work is heavily influenced by Traditional and Japanese tattooing. Henning’s world is inhabited with strange creatures: octopuses, polliwogs, axolotls, monsters great and small, real or fictional. These imaginary characters come alive whether on a piece of paper, skin, canvas, textile, wall, or on a screen.

Henbo Henning’s creative work straddles the design and art worlds. In 2022, Henning was invited by Nft Now to paint a mural at Art Basel Miami. Henning’s work has recently been exhibited in Atlanta, GA and in New York City, NY. He designed a tour poster for the musician Yungblud, a hot sauce label for the show Hot ones, did branding and design work for Guppy Nft, Allships, and Dave’s New York, among others.
